"Only a monument stands tall amidst storms, transforming obstacles into opportunities.” This is the essence of Aranthangi's numerous identities, with the first being Ideal Matric Higher Secondary School.
Established in 1994, over the past three decades, like a silent vow, Ideal School has been conducting its educational affairs under the stewardship of our esteemed educator, Mr. Sheikh Kalthan. Born into a humble family, despite facing hardships in his own learning journey, he harbored a lofty vision - not just to avoid burdening young minds with difficult academic paths but also to provide diverse opportunities through English medium education. It was in the picturesque city of Aranthangi that Ideal School commenced its journey thirty years ago. Beyond education and discipline, it also nurtures individuals within the community who contribute positively to society.
Our respected mentor, Mr. Sheikh Sulthan, deserves our heartfelt reverence. He embodies the spirit of Ideal School, tirelessly guiding good souls, leading the way even in difficult times, and transforming teachers, who would otherwise be just caregivers, into nurturers of their own children, and leading other staff members to function efficiently. We pay our respects to him. Our mentor, Sheikh Sulthan, is the greatest monument of all, personifying the spirit of Ideal, a towering monument indeed.
Through storms and challenges, it remains unyielding, celebrating victories and overcoming adversities. As years go by, birds may come and go, but Ideal, the monumental institution, stands tall in the changing tides of time…!!
